Radis Community Care is seeking a Full Time Team Leader to manage care packages at Weavers Court, Diss. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. A 6-month fixed-term contract and holiday entitlements are included.

The candidate should have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care ( Level 3 in progress preferred), be DBS checked, and have strong communication skills. A driving license is desirable but not essential.

Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time Team Leader to join our team based at Weavers Court, Diss.

The service comprises 51 self-contained apartments and has been thoughtfully designed to help residents maintain their independence while providing access to care and support whenever it is needed.

This is a Full Time position, 6 month fixed term contract.

Week 1 : Mon, Thurs and Fri #removed#

Week 2- Tues, Sat and Sun - #removed#

Week 3- Tues and Wed- #removed#

Week 4 - Wed, Fri and Sat - #removed#

About the role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Scheme, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care by overseeing care packages and supporting both people we support and Radis Staff. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding dignity, choice, and respect in every aspect of care delivery.

You will:

• Be thefirst point of contactfor care packages, offering supervision, support, and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring that care plans—including personal care and medication—are followed accurately in a in a manner that is specific to the People we support
• Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
• Take part in theon-call rotaand provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3, or happy to gain the qualification. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with the people we supports needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

A driving license with access to a vehicle will be desirable but not essential.
