Radis Community Care are seeking an Extra Care Team Leader to join our team at Plymouth, Devon. You will oversee care delivery in an extra care housing complex, ensuring people live independently with tailored support and safe, compassionate care.

You will supervise Support Workers, coordinate schedules, and assist with daily living activities. A DBS check is required, and a driving license is advantageous for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required.
• One year in a Team Leader/Senior role is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proactive attitude and flexibility to meet changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure high standards of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalised support plans.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at Runnymede Court, 127 Leypark Walk, Estover, Plymouth, Devon, PL6 8UF

About the Role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being.

You will be the first point of contact for the care and support provided, with responsibilities including:

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
