Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Team Leader Coach to lead a team of Care Assistants at Humber Court. You will oversee care plans, communication with residents and families, and promote residents’ independence while ensuring smooth administrative operations.

The role requires experience in care leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to high-quality service. DBS checks and right-to-work clearance will be completed as part of the process.

Qualifications

• NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
• Experience in managing a team within a similar environment
• Exceptional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Care Assistants and ensure correct procedures are followed
• Develop, implement and maintain individual care and support plans
• Provide residents and relatives with an effective communication network
• Ensure residents are encouraged to reach their optimum level of independence
• Ensure all administrative systems are implemented effectively

Education

NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or will work towards)

• Role: Team Leader Coach
• Hours/ Shifts: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Rate: £18.09 per hour
• Location: Humber Court, Humber Road, Coventry, Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 4FE

What will you do as our Team Leader Coach?

• Manage a team of Care Assistants and ensure correct procedures are followed

Our ideal Team Leader Coach will have:

• An NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or will work towards this qualification)
• Experience in managing a team within a similar environment
• Exceptional communication skills

This role would ideally suit an experienced Care Supervisor, Care Co-ordinator, Care Manager, Care Team Leader,or ExtraCare Housing Manager looking for a new challenge.

This Team Leader Coach role will be subject to satisfactory DBS check, references and Home Office right to work clearance.
