Job summary

Rittal-CSM Ltd in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for the 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday, 23:00–07:00). This permanent, full-time role pays £19.48 per hour plus a 33% shift premium, and covers 37.92 hours weekly.

You will lead the production team, maintain safety and quality standards, coordinate handovers, and support continuous improvement. Essential qualifications include supervisory management level 2 and people management experience; SAP experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
• Ensure materials, components, and information are available and correctly processed throughout the shift.
• Maintain strong shop floor presence, promoting safety, quality, and adherence to company standards.
• Coordinate shift handovers and communicate effectively with other Team Leaders and departments.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues, and elevate when needed to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee equipment checks, housekeeping standards, and support continuous improvement activities.
• Update records, audits, and systems (including SAP) accurately and on time.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Team Leader to join our Production team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in supporting our high-performing manufacturing operations.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key part in driving our mission of delivering excellence in the manufacture of our enclosures. You'll guide and support your team, help maintain safe and efficient processes, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential. We are primarily looking for strong leadership capability, someone who can motivate, organise, and develop a team effectively. If you bring excellent people-management skills and a proactive approach, we can teach you the technical side.

Key Responsibilities
