Job summary

Change Grow Live in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Team Leader to supervise a dedicated staff team, drive service quality and ensure adherence to safeguarding, policies and best practice.

You will provide coaching, appraisals, and development opportunities while maintaining a culture of accountability and wellbeing.

The role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week), a fixed-term contract to 31 March 2027, and a supportive, values-led environment with training and progression opportunities.

OurTeam Leadershere at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Wellingborough Hub and help shape a positive, collaborative and high-quality service.

In this rewarding role, you will empower and support staff to deliver excellent outcomes, providing leadership, direction and development while fostering a culture of accountability, wellbeing and continuous improvement. You will play an integral part in ensuring the service runs smoothly, maintaining high professional standards and contributing to the achievement of organisational goals.

Where: Wellingborough

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until March 31st, 2027

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal,performanceand sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to theirroles.
  • Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities thatassistservice users reaching their full potential as individuals and communitymembers.
  • Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to serviceusers.
  • Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providingtimelyvalues-basedfeedback.
  • Lead on the recruitment,selectionand induction ofstaff.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevantexperience.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care servicesand delivering services whichevidencehigh performance and qualitystandards.
  • Significant experienceof leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social careintervention.
  • Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, youngpeople,and safeguarding practice
  • Able to lead, inspire and develop ateam.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 31 to 33 (£36,101.10 - £38,114.53)
