Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Team Leader to work with the management team, set daily priorities, and guide a fast-paced store to hit goals with confidence. You’ll welcome new starters, coach colleagues, and focus on delivering great customer service on the shop floor.

In this role you’ll lead by example, maintain store standards, and help ensure a lively, well-organised shopping environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Be confident supporting colleagues and leading by example on the shop floor.
• Ability to prioritise and organise daily tasks effectively.
• A strong focus on delivering great customer service.
• Clear and confident communication with both customers and colleagues.
• Ability to guide and support others to meet store standards and targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the way with daily priorities alongside management to keep operations smooth.
• Welcome new starters, coach colleagues, and build skills for lasting development.
• Help create brilliant shopping moments by advising customers and improving service.
• Ensure store standards, merchandising, compliance and safety are upheld.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, guiding peers to meet targets and maintain energy.
• Maintain store presentation, tidy aisles, and stock levels to create a great shopping environment.
