Job summary

Home Bargains in Huddersfield is seeking a Team Leader to support store operations, lead a small team, and ensure the store runs smoothly with excellent customer service.

You will work up to 44 hours across five days, joining a fast-paced team and benefiting from our employee schemes including generous annual leave, a contributory pension, staff discounts, training opportunities, and access to our in-house benefits platform.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to train staff.
• Able to prioritise and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the way daily with management to keep things running smoothly and help the team hit targets.
• Coach and mentor new starters and existing colleagues on best practices and product standards.
• Help create great shopping moments by advising customers and improving service quality.
• Maintain high merchandising standards, ensure compliance and safety across the store.
• Share ideas to showcase products effectively and keep team energy high and collaborative.
• Lead by example on the shop floor and manage duties of a Team Leader in a bustling retail setting.
