Job description

What will I be doing?

We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the site licence, permits, and contracts, and will work to ensure that site operations exceed all required standards.

You will be:

• Proactively managing the site and all employees to ensure full compliance with regulations.
• Ensuring the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and all site users.
• Accountable for the site, employees, and members of the public entering the site.
• Assisting members of the public in a polite and courteous manner.
• Promoting a culture of recycling and waste diversion from landfill.
• Reporting any non-compliances or discrepancies on site to the site manager.
• Completing all administrative reporting accurately and promptly.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the site and access roads, where applicable.
• Performing other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role.

• Willingness to undertake and complete all necessary personal development and training related to waste acceptance, site equipment maintenance, infrastructure, and machinery operation.
