Job summary

CareTech Group in the UK is seeking a Residential Team Leader to support young people aged 8–18, helping with daily routines, school prep, meals, and activities.

You will create a warm home environment, build trusting relationships, and maintain essential care records, with two weeks induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Ability to build relationships and provide emotional support.
• Able to plan and run activities and manage daily routines.

What You’ll Do

As a Residential Team Leader you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Who You Are

• Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager - focused on achieving outcomes for others.
• Experience and/or qualification in Residential Childcare
