Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Residential Team Leader to support young people aged 8–18 with daily routines, school prep, meals and activity planning. You will foster a warm, safe home environment and maintain essential records to ensure high quality care.

You will build trusting relationships, provide emotional support and lead a small team, with two weeks of fully funded induction and funded Diploma progression (Levels 3-5). A DBS check is required and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualification in residential childcare
• Willingness to engage in training and development

What You'll Do

As a Residential Team Leader you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Who You Are

• Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager - focused on achieving outcomes for others.
• Experience and/or qualification in Residential Childcare
