Team Leader: North East Lincolnshire
Location: North East Lincolnshire
Salary: A GBP 27,992 per annum plus benefits
We are recruiting for a Team Leader in North East Lincolnshire.
We are Forward, a social enterprise empowering people to break the cycle of crime and addiction and live fulfilling lives.
We deliver a range of MOJ-commissioned rehabilitative services (CRS) directly for Probation in three key areas: Accommodation, Personal Wellbeing, and Dependency and Recovery. Accommodation services are delivered in Wales, Dependency and Recovery in London and Humberside, and Personal Wellbeing in East of England, Sussex, Surrey, and as a subcontractor in Kent and Cheshire.
Our services support men aged 18+ under probation supervision, helping them achieve transformational change, break the cycle of offending, and integrate into society long-term.
These services have supported thousands of individuals to make positive changes and build productive lives with employment, family, and community connections. We believe anyone can achieve lasting change regardless of their past.
As a Team Leader in the Dependency and Recovery Services, you will work within a hybrid model as part of a flexible, multidisciplinary team, working in person and traveling across probation delivery units in Grimsby and Scunthorpe. This is an in-person role, requiring daily presence at the specified locations.
The service aims to improve client engagement in treatment services and bridge the gap between probation and community substance misuse services through practical assistance and ongoing support via time-bound, enforceable, and motivational interventions.
You will manage a team of practitioners delivering the Dependency and Recovery Service to adult males under probation supervision. Your role includes supporting clients to implement their action plans and navigate their recovery journeys, maintaining positive relationships with probation colleagues and stakeholders involved in client care. You will need to be fully embedded within probation offices to promote our work.
You will provide visible leadership, travel across your designated locations, attend essential meetings, and ensure project delivery maintains high quality standards.
Success depends on effective staff recruitment, development, retention, and practice. You should be highly people-focused, providing coaching and practical support to enable your staff to thrive, in partnership with the service manager.
All probation-based roles require enhanced DBS and HMPPS security vetting, which can take 3-6 weeks. Offers are contingent upon receiving both vettings.
