Job summary

Norcott House, operated by CYGNET, seeks a confident Team Leader to join a care team in West Yorkshire. You will work full time, 42 hours weekly in 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends, with some shifts as a support worker and others as a team leader.

You will supervise staff, allocate duties, supervise medication administration and uphold best practice to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Undertake supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
