Job description

Are you a supportive and confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you believe in helping people overcome challenges, build independence and achieve positive outcomes? If so, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for a Team Leader to join our Craven Young Persons Pathway (YPP) and Harrogate Resettlement and Community Safety Scheme (RACS). Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll lead and support a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred services to young people at risk of homelessness and individuals with a history of offending. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting vulnerable people to achieve safer, more independent futures while leading a dedicated and passionate team.

  • Leading and supporting teams across our Craven YPP and Harrogate RACS services to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Overseeing referrals, risk management, safeguarding and support planning to ensure positive outcomes for clients.
  • Coaching and developing staff through effective supervision and leadership.
  • Building strong partnerships with local authorities, housing providers, probation services and other key stakeholders.
  • Managing service performance, quality standards, health and safety, and continuous service improvement.
  • Deputising for the Service Manager and participating in the on-call rota.
Experience leading and developing teams within support, housing, health or social care services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and supporting people with complex needs.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and person-centred support.
  • Strong communication, organisational and partnership-working skills.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and anti-racist practice.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • A CIH Level 3 qualification, or willingness to work towards this.
  • Join us and help create positive change for young people and adults across Craven, Harrogate and the wider North Yorkshire area.
The Company has experienced unprecedented growth over the past few years. We have a vast number of employees, and provide support to clients from all over the country.
At Inspire North, we know that when people feel supported, appreciated and encouraged to be themselves, they can do amazing things - and we want you to be part of that.
Here’s what you’ll enjoy as part of our team:
  • Flexible working options so you can balance life and work in a way that genuinely works for you.
  • Hybrid working - enjoy the best of both worlds!
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service - because rest matters.
  • Loads of learning and career development opportunities, including paid and personalised training to help you grow.
  • Free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme 24/7, including counselling and GP services - your wellbeing comes first.
  • Employer contributory pension scheme to help secure your future.
  • Great maternity, paternity and adoption benefits to support you and your family.
  • Exclusive care workers discounts to make everyday life that bit easier.
  • Active Employee Networks including People of Colour, LGBT+, Mental Health and Accessibility - because everyone deserves to belong.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives to help you feel your best, inside and out.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme to keep you moving and support greener choices.
  • Corporate Health Plan to support your physical and mental health.

We proudly embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, anti-racist environment where everyone can thrive by being their true self. Join us in driving this important agenda forward and help shape a workplace where all voices are valued! If you're ready to use your skills to help others succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
