Job summary

DP World in Coventry is seeking a Team Leader to supervise, guide and motivate a warehouse team. You will help colleagues work together to ensure daily operations run smoothly and safely.

You will coach warehouse operatives, liaise between departments, and deputise for the supervisor when required. Travel may be required and strong communication, IT and WMS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team.
• Experience working within logistics environment would be desirable.
• WMS, verbal and written communication, IT knowledge – Excel etc.
• Strong communication skills.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures relating to processing and checking.
• Accuracy in performing and closing all tasks.
• Liaising between all Departments.
• Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the operation.
• Maintain and monitor standard quality and safe working practices and adhere to the safe working methods.
• Coach all Warehouse Operatives daily in processes and procedures.
• Deputise for Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
