Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Writtle, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Team Leader to support and inspire children daily. You will play a key role in caring for and supporting staff, ensuring high standards and EYFS compliance while fostering curiosity and development.

Located in the picturesque village of Writtle, our nursery sits opposite Anglia Ruskin University and near Hylands Park. With excellent bus links to Chelmsford and easy access to the A414 and A12, it’s conveniently suited for commuting families.

What will you be doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day‑to‑day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practiceand provision in the nurserymeets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
