Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Writtle is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Location and Travel

Located in the picturesque village of Writtle, our nursery sits opposite Anglia Ruskin University and near Hylands Park. With excellent bus links to Chelmsford and easy access to the A414 and A12, it’s conveniently suited for commuting families.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met
  • Supervise and support the children at all times
  • Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies
  • Act as a positive, practical role model for the children
  • Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents
  • Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures
  • Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands‑on experience
