Brook Street, based in Chelmsford, is seeking a Team Leader to manage a busy administration centre for pre and post court activity. The role is office-based, 37 hours a week, with a salary of £14.01 per hour, and you will provide first-line leadership on site.

Team Leader

Location: Chelmsford, CM2 5PF

£14.01 per hour | 37 hours per week | Office-based |

Our Client (a reputed Government organisation) is hiring a Team Leader to manage a busy administration centre for pre and post court activity, act as a senior on-site presence when required, and provide first-line leadership that makes a real difference to customers and colleagues every day.

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead and support a team to deliver high quality court services and excellent customer service
  • Manage workloads, allocate resources, and help ensure business priorities are met
  • Monitor performance, track service targets, and take action when things need improving
  • Coach, develop and motivate staff to maximise performance and wellbeing
  • Handle attendance, conduct and performance matters in line with relevant policies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with judiciary, court users and partner agencies
  • Act as first point of escalation for operational and customer service issues
  • Support operational change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, health and safety, and information security requirements
  • Contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of Osprey House
