Position: Team Leader

Location: Gloucester - GL3 4AQ

Shift patterns: Friday-Sunday, Night shift (22:00-10:00), 12-hour shifts

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Are you ready to elevate your leadership skills in the aerospace industry? Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in aircraft landing gear and systems, is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join our innovative team!

What does the role entail?

• Lead daily performance, achieving customer KPIs and internal KPIs (e.g., safety, operational, employee-related).
• Participate in and conduct Gemba Walks to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist management by monitoring warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity, communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring deadlines are met safely and standards maintained.
• Track and trace orders using digital in-house software, maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in audits and work with the team to implement action plans.
• Report and investigate workplace incidents, escalating non-compliance issues.
• Conduct regular operation reviews and colleague briefings using Performance Dialogue boards.

What do we need from you?

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience as a Team Leader or similar in an operational environment.
• Counter Balance forklift license (essential).
• Project management experience (desirable).
• Knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Experience with volume order preparation and distribution.
• Proficiency with logistics software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with supervisory experience.
