Job summary

Woolmer Hill School is seeking a Teaching Assistant for Year 5. The role offers 8.30–15.15 hours, with an option for mornings only, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing children and supporting learning across the curriculum.

You will greet children each morning, work closely with the class teacher, and provide small group or 1:1 support when needed, including assistance for children with additional needs. A collaborative team environment is emphasized.

Job description

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Year 5. Hours 8.30 - 3.15 Monday to Friday or Monday to Friday mornings only.

• You will greet the children each morning with a reassuring smile, supporting them to skip into school excited about the creative and imaginative activities that await them.
• You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning within the classroom and deliver small group or one to one support when needed.
• Through working with a team who go over and above, you will leave work feeling like you have made a difference each day and have been valued for the part you have played in each child's development.

Our school is a two-form entry school on the development of Shilton Park in Carterton.
