St John the Evangelist CofE VA Primary School in Carterton is seeking Teaching Assistants to work in Year 5, with hours 8:30-15:15, full or part-time possibilities. You will support the class teacher across the curriculum and provide 1:1 and small-group learning to help children engage with creative and imaginative activities.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Year 5. Hours 8.30 - 3.15 Monday to Friday or Monday to Friday mornings only.
Our school is a two-form entry school on the development of Shilton Park in Carterton. The children and staff often talk about the family of St John’s and the unity within the school, where we all work together and support each other. We have a proven track record of supporting support staff in completing further qualifications through specific courses as well as degrees and teacher training.
In this role you will support the class teacher in supporting learning across the curriculum, as well as providing support for children with additional needs through one to one and group support.
