Primary Teaching Assistant – WESTON SUPER MARE

Prospero Teaching is looking for Primary School Teaching Assistants for various schools within the Weston Super Mare area.

The schools cater for children aged between 4-11 years old with learning difficulties, sensory impairments, autism, and challenging behaviour. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work 1-1, in small groups, or as a general teaching assistant for the whole class, depending on your preference.

The position is suitable for kind and caring individuals, graduates, experienced Teaching Assistants, and applicants with relevant experience.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – various schools in the Weston Super Mare area
• Position – Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Whole class work, small group, and 1:1 assistance
• Duration – ongoing until further notice
• Contract type – Temporary
• Minimum rate of pay – £90 – £105 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – (end time not specified)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Be enthusiastic, driven, and conscientious
• The ability to build rapport with children, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and acting as a mentor
• A professional approach to handling difficult situations
• Team teach qualification desirable but not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
