Learning Support Worker – Primary School (Weston-Super-Mare) Pay: £89 per day (paid weekly) Contract Type: Flexible – Part-time / Full-time, Temporary or Long-term Do you have a passion for helping children grow, thrive, and succeed in school? We are working in partnership with a range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Weston, helping them find dedicated Learning Support Workers who can make a real difference in the classroom. What You'll Be Doing: • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who need additional help • Working alongside class teachers to deliver inclusive and engaging lessons • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or other learning barriers • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional development, and classroom participation • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom setup • Observing and tracking student progress, sharing insights with the teaching team • Helping create a safe, supportive school environment, including during break and lunchtime supervision What We’re Looking For: • A caring, patient and reliable individual with a genuine passion for education • Strong communication and teamwork skills • The ability to adapt to different learning styles and pupil needs • Prior experience working with children (education or similar fields) is desirable • A willingness to complete essential training (e.g., safeguarding, first aid, SEN support) • A proactive attitude and calm approach to handling challenges in the classroom Why Work With Us?
