Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teaching Assistants to teach in lovely Primary schools based in the North Somerset area. We are partnered with several schools and have part-time, full-time, long-term, and short-term roles available.

The schools we work with are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a passion for teaching and learning. The teacher will need to help deliver lessons to a high standard. You must be a committed practitioner, aiming for the highest standards in learning. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will work with Class Teachers on the delivery of subjects and curriculum.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Weston-Super-Mare
• Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
• Type of work: day-to-day and long-term teaching in Primary schools
• Start Date: September 2024
• Duration: Long term
• Contract Type: Part-time and full-time depending on schools' needs
• Minimum rate of pay: GBP 90-100 per day
• Hours: 08:30 am - 4:00 pm (full-time), half-day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

EXPERIENCE

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)
• DBS on the update system or willing to proceed through the process

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
