Job summary

Lift Schools is looking for two Teaching Assistant opportunities within a Trust investing in career development. The role supports students to access learning, build confidence, and achieve goals, while helping them grow independence and self-esteem.

You’ll work with teachers to plan, deliver and assess lessons, supporting a positive learning environment and student wellbeing. L3 TA apprenticeship or willingness to work towards it is expected.

Qualifications

• L3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Patience and empathy when working with a range of students and situations.
• Good communication and ability to support learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning needs, including those with SEND, to access lessons and achieve goals.
• Help students build independent learning skills and manage progress.
• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons with teachers.
