Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Wimborne is recruiting a motivated SEN Supply Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting from September through to October half term. You will support learners with a range of learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs.

This position offers daily engagement with pupils, collaboration with teachers and specialists, and opportunities for training and career progression within specialist education settings.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people within education, SEND, residential care, youth services, or similar sectors.

Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic SEN Supply Teaching Assistant for a full-time opportunity within a specialist educational provision in Wimborne starting from September to October half term.

This position offers the chance to support learners who require additional guidance to reach their personal and academic goals. We are seeking individuals with relevant experience who can quickly become a valued member of the team and provide consistent support from day one.

This is a varied and highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will assist young people with a range of learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges while helping them engage positively with education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
