Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and HLTA to work in specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Berkshire, including Reading, Newbury, Wokingham, Bracknell, Winnersh and Woodley. You’ll support children with additional needs, helping them access education and build confidence, with start ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Experience in education, care, support work, youth work, healthcare, coaching, residential care or similar people-focused roles is welcomed, but not essential.
  • Patience, empathy and resilience are important traits for working with children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with additional needs to access education and achieve progress.
  • Assist in implementing individual plans and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to monitor progress and behaviour.

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work within a range of specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Berkshire, including:

Reading | Newbury | Wokingham | Bracknell | Winnersh | Woodley

You'll be supporting children and young people with a variety of additional needs, helping them access education, develop confidence, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
