Job summary

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic graduates or career changers to train as Teaching Assistants in a primary-age provision starting September 2026. No prior school experience needed; full training and on-the-job support will be provided.

This role offers a genuine pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate. You will support children aged 4-11 with additional learning needs or SEMH challenges, helping them build confidence and learn across subjects.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children aged 4-11 across a mix of subjects.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support.

• Assisting with social development and emotional regulation.
• Encouraging positive routines, independence and confidence.
• Working closely with teachers and support staff.
• Creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment.
