Job summary

Reed Education are seeking enthusiastic, patient individuals to join a primary-age specialist provision as Full-Time Teaching Assistants, starting September 2026. No prior school experience is required as full training and on-the-job support will be provided to help you make a positive difference for children.

This long-term role offers a genuine pathway to permanent employment for the right person, with ongoing guidance and a supportive consultative network to help you develop classroom skills

Qualifications

• No prior teaching experience required; full training provided.
• Supportive on-the-job guidance will help you settle into the role.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 4-11 across a mix of subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Help develop literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Assist with social development and emotional regulation.
• Encourage positive routines, independence and confidence.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff.
• Create a nurturing, safe and engaging learning environment.
