About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students and help them thrive in their education!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN.

Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring accessibility for all students.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Support students with a variety of SEN, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and adapt support strategies.

Requirements:

Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is preferred.

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.

️ Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff.

Understanding of various SEN conditions and how to support students effectively.

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is desirable.
