A leading educational institution in Ashford is seeking a dedicated support staff member for their SEN Department. This role involves assisting students in a mainstream environment, with opportunities for professional development through funded qualifications. Ideal candidates should have experience working with children and be committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive, and committed individual to join our highly regarded support team within the SEN Department, supporting students in a mainstream school environment.
As part of our recruitment package, we are pleased to support staff wishing to progress by providing an opportunity to undertake an HLTA qualification, funded by the school, after six months of service.
Applicants should be able to work collaboratively and have some prior experience working with children or young adults. Experience with reading interventions or working with young people with SEN and/or physical disabilities is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
