Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a specialist setting?

We’re currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist SEN school in Barnet that supports students with severe and complex learning needs, including Autism, PMLD, and physical disabilities.

The Role:

You will be working with young adults aged 11 - 19, all with Special Education Needs. Some of the students you will work with may have limited communication skills, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Physical disabilities, and PMLD. Personal care may be involved.

You will support multiple classes, assist children across the school, and occasionally work 1:1 with pupils.

Throughout the academic year, you will support pupils in engaging in lessons and achieving their potential.

This role is ideal for TAs or Graduates who:

  • Have experience with SEN, particularly Autism, PMLD, and complex needs
  • Are calm, empathetic, and proactive in behaviour support
  • Want to be part of a dedicated, welcoming, and experienced team
