Are you confident supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This Birmingham SEMH school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 3 & 4 students who require additional support managing behaviour, emotional regulation and accessing their education.

This role is ideal for someone with previous SEMH experience or a strong background in youth work, mentoring, or pastoral support. You will be part of a committed team helping students achieve personal and academic goals while developing strong relationships and resilience. This is an excellent Teaching Assistant opportunity to make a difference supportingchildren who have faced barriersto learning.

Job Role:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties
• Providing behaviour mentoring and emotional support
• Working closely with teachers and therapists to support engagement
• Creating a safe and structured classroom environment
• Helping pupils build confidence, self-esteem and social skills
