Are you a caring and Team Teach trained individual with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health? Are you looking for your next role opportunity?

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant with a calm and caring nature to support within a primary Alternative Provision in Longsight.

About the role: You will support classroom management and assist students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Contract / Position Details:

• Location: Longsight, Manchester
• Position: SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Long term, Ongoing
• Full time/part-time: Full Time
• Pay rate: Minimum GBP97 per day
• Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, or ADHD (preferred)
• Experience in a school or similar setting
• Team Teach Qualification (desired, not essential)
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, not essential as training is provided)

Eligibility for this role through Prospero Teaching:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or willing to obtain one
• Provide two professional references
