Teaching Assistant - Primary

Role Details

Location: Our client, Chatteris
Salary: Grade C, £24,027 - £24,404 FTE (£18,072.36 - £18,355.93 actual salary)
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-time plus 5 training days
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30 am - 3:30 pm, including lunch supervision)
Closing Date: Friday 21st March 2025, Midday

The Role - What You'll Be Doing
• Supporting pupils with learning activities, small group work, and interventions.
• Assisting teachers with lesson planning, classroom setup, and behaviour strategies.
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independent learning.
• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring individual learning plans are followed.
• Encouraging social and emotional development, helping children to thrive.
