Job summary

Clifford Bridge Academy is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our friendly team in Coventry. The role is part time (22.5 hours per week) during term time plus 5 inset days, supporting the classroom teacher and inclusion manager with care and supervision for pupils, including those with additional needs.

• Has a good standard of education including English & Maths (GCSE/Level 2).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of working within a classroom setting and with Primary aged pupils.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Can work on their own initiative and also work well as part of a team.
• Is an excellent role model.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher and inclusion manager with development and education responsibilities.
• Provide care and supervision to children/young people, including those with special needs.
• Promote safeguarding and a safe learning environment as directed by policies.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
