Job summary

Inspire Education Trust's Clifford Bridge Academy in Coventry is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support the classroom teacher and inclusion manager with the education process, and to supervise children, including those with additional needs.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours/week, term time plus inset days) with a pro rata salary of £14,017–£14,695 per year; the full-time equivalent salary falls in the £26,016–£27,274 range.

Qualifications

• GCSE/Level 2 in English and Maths required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a classroom setting with primary pupils.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher and inclusion manager with development and education processes.
• Provide care and supervision to children/young people, including those with special educational needs.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare, and participate in mandatory training.
