Job summary

Elton High School is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Grade 7) to support students with physical disabilities and help them access full school life so they can progress and develop. The role covers KS3/KS4, across all year groups and departments, as part of a supportive team.

The successful candidate will work 29.35 hours per week during term time, with a few additional days during school closures, contributing to a strong, well-regarded department and safeguarding-focused school

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with physical disabilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support to students across KS3 and KS4, to ensure that they are on track with their learning.
• Gain experience across all year groups/departments/subject areas and be a key support for the school by joining a dedicated and supportive team.
• Contribute to inclusive practice and help students access full school life.
• Support overall school wellbeing and positive student behaviour as part of the team.
