Job summary

Ingol Community Primary School is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils with a range of special educational needs within our SEND Designated Classroom. The role offers an opportunity to join a committed team dedicated to helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The successful candidate will work with teaching staff, SEND leaders, families and external agencies to ensure every child receives tailored support in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Has experience of supporting pupils with SEND, including communication and interaction needs.
• Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
• Work closely with teaching staff, SEND leaders, families and external agencies.
• Deliver personalised learning activities and monitor progress.
• Promote inclusive practice and contributing to a supportive school community.
