Alder Brook Primary Partnership is inviting applications for three Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support the Experts at Hand initiative across Salford primary schools.
These roles require flexibility to work across a range of settings, with a focus on pupils with SEMH and SEND; vehicle and insurance are required. You will collaborate with mainstream and specialist colleagues to facilitate reintegration and capacity building.
Start Date: 1 September 2026
Alder brook is a specialist setting that supports primary pupils with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH). We are a growing school and currently have 94 pupil places over two sites.
The Department for Education has introduced a new initiative, providing additional funding to Local Authorities to enhance SEND support in mainstream schools. This initiative, “Experts at Hand”, enables professionals from specialist settings, such as Alder Brook, to extend their expertise and support into mainstream schools.
As part of this exciting development, Alder Brook is seeking to appoint three Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support this initiative.
