Job summary

Lower Kersal Primary in Salford is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our caring, dedicated team. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and support staff to help every pupil engage with school life and make excellent progress.

You will support pupils with additional needs, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and contribute to implementing IEPs and EHCPs. We prioritise a positive, nurturing learning environment with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

  • Is enthusiastic about outdoor learning and keen to support children in developing their confidence and skills beyond the classroom.
  • Can provide effective one-to-one and small-group support, adapting activities and approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Can support teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Is committed to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
