Job summary

Salford-Council is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in Salford. You will support pupils with varying needs, work with class teachers and the SENCO, and help pupils engage with learning to reach their potential.

The role emphasizes patience, adaptability and a commitment to inclusive education, including one-to-one and small-group support and assisting with IEPs/EHCPs. A DBS check and collaboration with families are expected.

• Can provide effective one-to-one and small-group support, adapting activities and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Can support teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Is committed to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
