Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support primary pupils with a range of needs in a welcoming school. The role involves working closely with the SENDCO and families to promote inclusive practice.

You will deliver small group sessions, support individual pupils, assist with assessments, and coordinate with external agencies as required. A safeguarding focus and DBS check are part of the role, with ongoing CPD and staff collaboration throughout the year.

To fulfil your role, we will support you with:

• Targeted CPD and training
• Weekly Phase and staff meetings
• Appraisals
• First Aid training
• Time with SENDCO
• Resources to support with delivery of lessons, group or individual work

School visits: Friday 2nd October

Closing Date: Friday 9th October

Shortlisting: Monday 12th October

Interview and SEND task: Tuesday 20th October
