Job summary

Paulton Junior School is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our busy team. The role involves 1:1 support, leading intervention groups and assisting with class activities to help children reach their full potential. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, adaptable and ready to contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant will be committed to promoting inclusion and positive behaviour to help our children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We require a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our team.

An essential part of the role is supporting on a 1:1 basis and leading intervention groups as well as class-based activities.

This is a busy, varied and challenging but rewarding role.

The successful applicant will:

Have the ability to deal with new and challenging situations.

Be a strong team player who can also work on their own initiative.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of pupils, staff, and parents.

Show initiative and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrate the ability to work in a SEND role, supporting classroom learning and ensuring individual progress.

Build effective relationships with both children and colleagues.

Maintain high expectations of themselves and those with whom they work.
