Bicton CE Primary School and Nursery in Shrewsbury is seeking a confident SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) on a fixed-term contract to 31/08/2027. The role is 28.75 hours per week and may be combined with a Lunchtime Supervisor post for 2.5 hours per week, depending on interview discussions.

Requirements include Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent and experience of working with children in an educational setting.

Overview

Bicton CE Primary School and Nursery, a school within Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, are looking for a confident and knowledgeable SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join their staff team. The successful candidate will predominantly support SEND pupils within the Key Stage classrooms.

Note: This is a fixed-term role.

Contract and Hours

Fixed Term (to 31/08/2027 in the first instance). 28.75 hours per week. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to combine this post with a Lunchtime Supervisor role for 2.5 hours per week. This can be discussed at interview.
