Job summary

St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School in Higher Broughton, Salford is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027, with the likelihood of a permanent role thereafter. The role is 32.5 hours per week during term time, with working hours from 8:15am to 3:45pm.

The school provides full support and training to appointed candidates. We value fast learners who are passionate about making a difference to children’s lives and have excellent English and Maths

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English and Maths skills
• Previous experience would be useful but is not a barrier to being appointed

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1

School will provide all the support and training required to those candidates appointed to ensure they are confident and capable in fulfilling the above roles.
