St. Andrew’s CE Primary School in Salford is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our KS2 team, mainly supporting Year 3 and 4. This post is linked to a fixed start date and requires safeguarding checks. Closing date is 1st October 2026, with interviews soon after the shortlisting.

The successful candidate will work within a friendly, inclusive environment and contribute to our commitment to high standards of education and welfare for every child.

Qualifications

  • TA3 qualification and experience in primary education.
  • Experience with pupils with SEND and additional languages.
  • Experience delivering phonics, preferably Read Write Inc.
  • Flexible and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning in Key Stage 2.
  • Assist in Year 3 and 4 with teaching activities.
  • Support phonics and language development.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and welfare requirements.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Required For 2nd November 2026

St. Andrew’s CE Primary School is a warm, friendly and inclusive school which is at the heart of our local, diverse community. In 2023 we have received ‘Good’ at OFTSED, a very positive SIAMs report, LPPA re-accreditation and School of Sanctuary status. Owing to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for a TA3 for Key Stage 2, working primarily in Year 3 and 4.

What are we looking for?
  • A qualified and experienced TA3
  • Experience of working with children with additional languages and SEND
  • Experience of teaching a phonics programme, preferably Read, Write, Inc.
  • Someone flexible, adaptable who will enhance our current team
