Job summary

Trinity Academy Akroydon in England is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils during the school day. You will provide learning support for individuals or small groups, helping pupils achieve their goals while upholding safeguarding standards.

The role offers opportunities for development within a Trust mindful of eco-initiatives and collaborative work across academies. Term-time plus 3 days, with a supportive team and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills required.
• Experience of working with or caring for children aged relevant to the school.
• Awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Experience with basic technology, PC, internet and MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support meeting the needs of individual pupils or small groups as directed.
• Support pupils to achieve their goals and take a leading role in eco-initiatives.
