Job summary

Penk Valley Academy Trust, Princefield First School, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support team. The role involves working under supervision to support teaching staff and help learners access engaging activities.

You will give assistance under the direction of the SENCO and class teachers, contributing to a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their potential. This is a term-time position with regular school hours.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
• Work under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers to assist pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning.
• This position runs during the school term, Monday to Friday 8:45am–3:45pm, and ends at the end of the academic year.
