Teaching Personnel Ltd. are recruiting flexible Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Crofty schools in West Cornwall after October Half Term.

We are seeking General Teaching Assistants and SEND Teaching Assistants to help pupils across primary settings in the area. As a Teaching Assistant, you may support pupils in the classroom, work one-to-one or in small groups, assist teachers with lesson prep and classroom management, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• SEND experience is highly desirable for SEND TA positions.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting!

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in West Cornwall after October Half Term? Whether you're an experienced TA, a SEND specialist, or someone looking to begin a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you!

We are working closely with a number of Crofty schools and are looking to recruit both General Teaching Assistants and SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary settings in the area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning
• Working one-to-one or in small groups to boost confidence and attainment
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you may also:

• Support children with additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs
• Implement strategies and interventions recommended by school professionals
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils who require additional support
• Help children develop both academically and socially

• Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• SEND experience is highly desirable for SEND TA positions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
