Job summary

Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly primary school in Swaythling, Southampton. This role involves 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN and helping the child access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.

You will work with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, foster an inclusive learning atmosphere and collaborate with the SENCO and school staff to secure the

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is advantageous but not essential.
  • Patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly primary school in Swaythling, Southampton.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing classroom support alongside dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You'll play a key role in helping the child access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate
